Even though I get paid to say it — these new covers for Dickens’ classic works are really beautiful, and make we want to read them all over again (except for BLEAK HOUSE—I’m not slogging through that again).

Next month marks the bicentennial of Charles Dickens’ birth.  Arguably the greatest novelist of the Victorian period, Dickens was born at Landport, in Portsea, on February 7, 1812.   To celebrate this momentous anniversary, Vintage Books will release 7 newly jacketed edition of Dickens’ great works all designed by Megan Wilson (check out her blog here), with illustrations by Peter de Sève.
